Bridgeport's Steel Expansion Coupling and Jumper Assembly Provide Secure Connections and Grounding With Fast, Easy Installation
STRATFORD, Conn., Jan. 31, 2007 - Steel expansion couplings and bonding jumper assemblies from Bridgeport Fittings provide secure connections and grounding, regardless of temperature changes or moving parts, with fast, easy installation.
Bridgeport's low cost steel expansion couplings for EMT ¾" to 4" trade sizes are as easy to use and install as a regular EMT set-screw coupling. The couplings compensate for up to 2" of conduit movement in dry locations.
The bonding jumper assemblies, designed for 1/2" to 4" trade sizes, handle up to 4" expansion on EMT in addition to creating a secure ground for rigid conduit and copper water pipe. Installed easily to expansion couplings, the jumper assemblies feature bronze ground clamps and copper bonding strips.
Bridgeport's steel expansion couplings for EMT carry UL File E24001 Certification. The bonding jumper assemblies comply with NEC Article 250 and are UL File E20412 Certified.
