New Device Solves Sewage Problems

Waste Tec, Inc. of Keystone Heights Florida has developed and is now marketing a piece of equipment (The Pit Evacuator) which greatly improves movement of solids in Waste Water Lift Station/Wet Weels either new or used.

Installation will eliminate the need to ever clean these stations by vac truck, which is now the practice. Solids, sand and grease are no longer a problem. Eliminates employees coming in contact with raw sewage. Also most objectionable odors are eliminated.

All this is accomplished by attaching the Pit Evacuator to one of the new or existing pump discharge lines. When waste water is moving through the discharge line, some of the discharge water is forced through a venturi which creates a vacuum, and pulls the grease and floating solids through the venturi, then discharges the mixture into the bottom of the pit which forces the sand and grit to be mixed so pumps can send it all to the treatment plant to be treated instead of other costly and hazardous methods.

The Pit Evacuator has no moving parts and requires no electrical hookup.
It represents a great savings in time, labor and money.
Installation requires two men about two hours.
Some say the Pit Evacuator eliminates the most hazardous and least desirable job in town.
