August 5, 2009 - Combined 1 Gb/10 Gb aggregated switch series includes 24-port XG0224 and 48-port XG0448 which enable seamless integration of existing Ethernet streams into high-speed 10 Gb networks. Compact switches offer low latency and failure rates. They feature auto sensing 10/100/1000 Base-T with 4 ports of SFP optics and open slots for 1 or 2 dual-port 10 GbE uplink cards, depending upon model. Units have 1U form factor, simplifying integration into existing networks and system chassis.

Fujitsu Expands Support for Ethernet Networks with New Additions to XG Switch Product Line


Fujitsu Delivers Combined 1Gb/10Gb Aggregated Switch Series for Video, Storage and High Performance Computing

SUNNYVALE, Calif., July 28 / / - Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc., a leading supplier of innovative computer products including hard disk drives, peripherals and biometric security solutions, today launched a new aggregated series of 24-port and 48-port 1Gb/10Gb Ethernet Switches. Delivering on its commitment to provide customers with a reliable solution for their legacy network environments, the introduction of the 24-port XG0224 and 48-port XG0448 expands the XG family of Fujitsu high-performance Ethernet Switches enabling the seamless integration of existing Ethernet streams into high-speed 10Gb networks.

The combined Fujitsu XG product line will offer a high-quality option for today's high speed server networks, backbones and fabrics.
