ICP DAS USA, Inc. introduces NSM-208A, an 8-port Ethernet switch that supports 10/100 Base-TX. It features 10/100M auto negotiation and automatic MDI/MDI-X crossover for plug-and-play. All Ethernet ports have memory buffers that support a store-and-forward mechanism which ensures the accuracy of data transmission. The NSM-208A supports advanced network standards which allow users to optimize network performance, reduce maintenance costs, and ensure network safety.

NSM-208A can be used in building automation, factory automation, remote maintenance, test equipment, and many other applications. It can be used to connect Ethernet based devices like web cameras for building security over a Ethernet cabling. It can also be used with the ET-7000 Series Ethernet and Modbus TCP based remote data acquisition modules which allow flexibility in office design, efficiency in system design, and a fast turnaround time in set-up and implementation. There are link and data rate LED indicators for each port to help with troubleshooting. NSM-208A supports +12 ~ +48 VDC power input and supports operating temperatures from -40 C ~ +75 C (-104 F ~ 167 F).
