Tellabs® Carrier Ethernet offers reliable service with the capacity that best fits your needs - and your budget

NAPERVILLE, Ill., Sept. 21 / / - Imagine wearing winter clothes on the hottest day. Well, using a heavy-duty Ethernet aggregation switch to take on lighter aggregation at the edge of your network is like wearing layers of sweaters in the blazing sun. Don't sweat it. Tellabs® Carrier Ethernet gives you the freedom to choose solutions that fit your unique application needs. Its latest addition, the Tellabs 7325 Switch, extends Ethernet even closer to the network edge.

"Half the size of Tellabs® 7345 Ethernet Aggregation Switch, the Tellabs 7325 Switch provides big bandwidth support with a small footprint and flexible deployment configurations," said Mark Pashan, vice president and general manager, transport products, at Tellabs. "While the Tellabs 7345 Switch handles aggregation at larger hub sites, the Tellabs 7325 Switch takes on a lighter load at the edge of your network, which makes your network more efficient." The Tellabs 7345 Switch handles ports up to 10 Gbps and the Tellabs 7325 Switch handles ports up to 1 Gbps.

Shed those layers easily

Why add layers to your transport requirements and costs by aggregating all of your Ethernet services deeper in your network? Take the heat off with the Tellabs 7325 Switch. It's ideal for efficiently aggregating Ethernet services at the edge of your network when you only need a single switch module supporting up to 24 ports.

The Tellabs 7325 fits easily into most Ethernet networks. The Layer 2 switch delivers reliable business Ethernet, broadband data and Internet access services to businesses or consumers. It's easy to integrate with your existing Tellabs products and management solutions.
