New Version of TruePlanning® from PRICE Systems Simplifies Complex Project Estimation Tasks
Holistic View Provides Systems-Level Perspectives For Earlier, Faster and More Accurate Estimates

Laurel, New Jersey-The release of TruePlanning® 2010 estimation software from PRICE Systems (pricesystems.com) simplifies the design and management of complex projects by providing new features from a systems engineering perspective that make possible earlier, faster and more accurate cost and scheduling decisions. Originally released in 2003, TruePlanning estimates the scope, cost, effort and schedule for software, hardware and IT projects; mechanical and electronic lifecycle programs; and system of systems configurations. TruePlanning 2010 includes four features that facilitate project estimation:
Easy-to-attain systems-level views that speed comparisons of project estimates, reducing the time it takes to determine the cost, schedule and effort of entire systems
Input inheritance-in which new values are set just once and then continue throughout the product breakdown structure, enabling faster trade-off comparisons and analyses
Reference notes, descriptions, images and pop-up messages explain the effect of inputs on specific costs. Invalid input alerts provide support and tips for ensuring accuracy and completeness to help clarify estimates as they are being developed.
Simplified processes describe deployment systems requirements, enable users to estimate systems in a series of production lots and specify the number of systems deployed in a given time period
