Enviroline Introduces Low VOC Holding Primer

FT. LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA, SEPTEMBER 14, 2005 Enviroline introduces Enviroline 58HS Epoxy Primer, a exceptionally low VOC holding primer for interior or exterior steel, concrete and masonry surfaces requiring an extended recoat window. With all the great application and re-coat benefits of the popular Enviroline 58, Enviroline 58HS has one added feature - it's 250 g/l VOC compliant.

Many States like California have stringent requirements for reduced VOC products. To help owners and contractors avoid the confusion of a variety of VOC regulations from one area to the next, Enviroline's goal has been to meet and exceed all of them. Enviroline's chemically resistant topcoats offer zero or very low VOCs, always well within regulatory requirements. And though the majority of Enviroline products do not need a primer for steel application, there are many situations where a primer is helpful, as with a large tank requiring surface preparation or in humid environments where the surface preparation can not be held cost-effectively. Enviroline 58HS gives owners and contractors the ability to hold their surface preparation for up to 90 days while still meeting the most stringent VOC requirements.

Enviroline 58HS is a high solids epoxy primer with VOCs of less than 250 g/l. Applied on steel as well as concrete, Enviroline 58HS offers excellent adhesion, easy application and a recoat window of up to 90 days.
