O.D. Clamping End Prep Tool Designed for Hard Steam Header Tubes
An O.D. clamping welding end prep tool for heavy-wall small I.D. tubes with a high percentage of chrome that are found on steam headers and water wall boilers is has been introduced by ESCO Tool of Holliston, Massachusetts.
The Esco C-HOG MILLHOG® O.D. Clamping End Prep Tool is up to three times faster than I.D. clamping welding end prep tools for beveling, facing, and boring highly alloyed small bore heavy-wall steam header tubes. Featuring a large solid clamp with easy to change blocks for gripping ½" to 2-½" tubes, it rigidly mounts to the outside of the tubes and sets up quickly.
Equipped with an attached wrench providing over 1" of stroke with a ratchet feed, the Esco C-HOG MILLHOG® O.D.
