Clamping End Prep Tool is equipped with ratchet feed that provides over 1 in. of stroke. Designed for use on tubes as small as ˝ in. OD, unit can be fitted between 1 1/8 in. membrane boiler tubes. Working range is ˝ to 2˝ in. and tool has attached ratchet wrench for fast setup.

O.D. Clamping End Prep Tool Securely Attaches to Outside of Tube
A new, O.D. clamping end prep tool for beveling, facing, and boring highly alloyed, small bore heavy-wall header tubes and water wall boiler tubes is being introduced by ESCO Tool of Medfield, Massachusetts.
The Esco C-HOG MILLHOG® O.D. Clamping End Prep Tool features a massive clamp that attaches to the outside of the tube, minimizes chatter and vibration, and allows the cutter blade to prep quickly. Equipped with a ratchet feed which provides over 1" of stroke, this lightweight tool is ideal for use on hard, small bore heavy-wall tubes with a high percentage of chrome.
Designed for use on tubes as small as ˝" O.D., the Esco C-HOG MILLHOG® O.D. Clamping End Prep Tool has a narrow body to fit between 1-1/8" membrane boiler tubes. Eliminating the need for mandrels and multiple parts, it has a working range of ˝" to 2-˝" and uses an easy to change block for changing pipe sizes and has an attached ratchet wrench for fast setup.
