30W DC-DC Converter in 1 x 1" Footprint with Wide 2:1 or Ultra-Wide 4:1 Input Ranges
PowerGate LLC announces the release of TRACOPOWER THN-30 series of DC-DC Converters offering the highest power density available in the industry standard 1x1" footprint. These encapsulated DC-DC Converters feature high efficiencies up to 92% and by using the highest grade components they can be operated in a temperature range of –40°C up to 55°C at full load or up to 85°C with optional heat-sink or output power de-rating.
The THN-30 series offers a wide 2:1 input (9-18 / 18-36 / 36-72Vin Range) and the THN-30WI series offers ultra-wide 4:1 input (9-36 / 18-75Vin Range). Both series are offered with 7 output models of 3.3 / 5 / 12 15 / 24 / ±12 / ±15 Vout. Their encapsulated and shielded package measure only 1 x 1 x 0.4" making them the highest density products available in this power range. Additional functions include Remote on/off control, Remote Adjustment, Over Current Protection, Over Voltage Protection and Over Temperature protection. The modules supply a tightly regulated output voltage even under no load condition. Low input current at no load operation (8 mA) and remote On/Off control make these converters an ideal solution for energy critical systems. All models offer 1500VDC Isolation, UL60950-1 Safety Approvals, EN55022 Class A Emissions (with input capacitor) and are backed by a 3 year warranty.
