Quadro Launches a New Submicron Size Reduction Technology

Quadro is proud to introduce the HV-Emulsifier Series, an innovative rotor-stator mixing device that defines new limits in shear energy and closes the gap in performance between traditional in-line mixers and high-pressure technology. To liquid processing industries interested in submicron size reduction, Quadro® HV-Emulsifier is the brand of mixer that offers more than thirty times the energy dissipation of a traditional rotor-stator system due to its high velocity rotor and unique tooling geometry. Expensive high-pressure homogenizer technology can now be displaced with an HV process solution at 30% of the initial investment and 10% of the annual maintenance cost.

The HV-Emulsifier Series features three different models ranging from 20-125Hp depending on desired capacity, up to a maximum of 250gpm. All models utilize energy optimized tooling that operates at tip speeds up to 60m/s with the lowest power consumption in the industry, in addition to a sanitary high-speed mechanical seal that eliminates potential trap areas around the rotor shaft for improved CIP results.

Various other equipment options are available including a selection of motors, controls, portable bases, etc.
