Johnson Electric's New Compact TH-Contact® TE1 Emergency Stop Switches Provide Safety Option Where Space Is Sparse

<20 mm panel depth is 30% more compact than industry's next-in-class option

VANDALIA, OH - Johnson Electric introduces TH-Contact® TE1 Emergency Stop Switches. These rugged IP65-sealed switches are available with illuminated or non-illuminated mushroom cap diameters of 25, 30 and 40 mm for 16.2 mm panel cut out or 22.5 with adapter option. TE1 E-stop switches conform to EN 60947-1, EN 60947-5-1 and EN 60947-5-5. They provide nearly 2 times the operating force of many other competitive E-stop switches available today, providing the functionality panel designers need in far less space.

TE1 E-stop switches provide 1NO (normally open) and 1 NC (normally closed), or 2NC, switching functions. They feature a rotary reset mechanism and Faston terminals for quick, easy and lower cost assembly.

Their compact and rugged design makes them ideally suited for use as a safety option in applications such as remote control equipment, machine automation, lifts/elevators, machine assembly, hand-held devices and portable equipment, security/emergency exits and medical equipment.
