Emergency Cable-Pull with Integral E-Stop Pushbutton

Tarrytown, NY, May 18 , 2005 ... SCHMERSAL is pleased to announce the introduction of their new ZS80 Emergency Cable-Pull switch with integral E-Stop pushbutton.

This IP67 rated, metal-housed unit features dual double-break contact blocks offering a choice of two positive-opening N.C. contacts and two N.O. contacts; three positive-opening N.C. contacts and one N.O. contact; or four positive-opening N.C. contacts. Contacts change state when the cable is pulled or goes slack.

In addition the unit features three cable entries, a lever-actuated manual reset, a position indicator for easy installation, and an optional; signaling lamp. The unit is capable of spanning lengths of up to 50 meters, and meets the stringent requirements of EN 418, IEC/EN 60947-5-1, and IEC/EN 60947-5-5.

Its rugged design makes it ideal for conveyor lines, textile machinery, packaging machinery, transfer lines, and other applications requiring a continuous, immediately available accessible emergency stop.
