AAEON Launches Cutting-Edge Embedded Controller with Intel® Atom Processor-AEC-6911
Taipei Taiwan (May 22, 2009)--AAEON (TAIEX: 2463), a premier Industrial PC manufacturer, launches the AEC-6911, an advanced embedded Controller, which adopts the latest Intel® Atom processor to provide high performance and low power consumption. The BOXER series includes "BOXER", "BOXER S", "BOXER Lite", and now "BOXER á".The AEC-6911 is the first product of the "BOXER á" product line and unfolds a new era of developing an embedded controller based on the fanless design and mobile low power consumption processor.
The AEC-6911 supports the Intel® Atom(TM) N270 processor with 1.6 GHz and DDRII SDRAM SODIMM system memory (up to 2GB). This model features two PCI and two PCMCIA slots for expansion, four COM ports, two RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet, and four USB 2.0 ports which allow for communication with diverse devices with a high transfer rate. In addition, one CompactFlash(TM), and one SATA/IDE Hard Disk Drive is available for larger storage expansion.
