Embedded Board Brings Industrial Ethernet

The PS100B is a single-port serial Ethernet communication board that brings RS232/422/485 based industrial devices under the control of 10Mbit/s Ethernet network.

Details:

The PS100B incorporates a selectable RS232/422/485 serial interface and transfers the industrial device data up to 115Kbit/s. Also, it accommodates the broad spectrum of power requirements used in industrial automation environments by offering voltage from 9 to 30V.

Furthermore, It includes device management and control capabilities like log storage, automatic email delivery of error log, full-featured system status display and the ability to download and upgrade firmware through serial console or telnet.

The PS100B has the support of 10Mbit/s Ethernet network, and provides versatile raw connection modes for sockets, such as TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP server/client, pair connection, and Ethernet Modem, making PS100B a flexible tool for many applications.

In addition to industry leading low latency, and high throughput, the unit is supplied with a static key based 3DES data encryption to promise secure data communication over the industrial networks.

In TCP/UDP Tunneling method, PS100B facilitates direct connection between two industrial devices across a network allowing them to communicate as if they were the only two devices around.

Benefits:

The benefits of network-enabling industrial devices include: Reduce maintenance costs through remote monitoring and management, Real-time access to information, Increase flexibility and performance with distributed intelligence, Leverage existing Ethernet wiring, and Minimize costs by sharing devices among users.
