February 4, 2009 - Constructed of ball-bearing heat-treated steel, Tec-Cut Infinity Elite Tools feature 2-component fully dissipative handle that combines soft surface for gripping with hard plastic core. Stainless steel dual-leaf springs and matched bearing rings minimize metal-to-metal contact, while lap-joint blade design joined with steel screw keeps cutting edges in alignment. Tools are isothermally pre-hardened to 45 HRC before machining, then inductive hardened to 63-65 HRC for resistance to wear.

Techni-Tool Introduces New Tec-Cut Infinity Elite Pliers & Cutter

You Save Money 2 Different Ways

Worcester, PA (January 15, 2009): Techni-Tool is pleased to introduce the new
Tec-Cut Infinity Elite line of fine electronics pliers and cutters designed to save you money two ways:

1. Save Now - Infinity Elite is priced lower than competing brands

2. Save Later - Infinity Elite last longer with better performance

These new Infinity Elite Swiss-made pliers and cutters are the best we've developed in
the almost 30-year history of Tec-Cut Infinity hand tools. No other brand delivers this peak performance and durability at such an affordable price, and all are backed with a lifetime warranty on materials and workmanship.

To prove our point we had a testing firm take an Infinity Elite cutter and one each from 4 leading competitors and make 20,000 cuts on the same spot on the blade. The results showed the force needed to open and close the Infinity Elite cutter remained constant over time, but increased for 3 of the 4 cutters tested. What's more, no blade damage or wear could be detected on the Infinity Elite tools even under 40X magnification.

Infinity Elite tools use highest-quality ball-bearing steel heat-treated for resiliency and toughness. The exclusive 2-component fully-dissipative handle combines a soft surface for gripping with a hard plastic core for strength. This unique handle wears better and lasts longer than all ESD foam handles, plus is oil and grease resistant.

What's more, stainless steel dual-leaf springs and matched bearing rings minimize metalto-metal contact and extend tool life. A lap-joint blade design joined with a steel screw keeps the cutting edges in perfect alignment far longer than tools connected with rivets.

The metal used in Infinity Elite tools is isothermally pre-hardened to 45 HRC before
precision machining to eliminate distortion and stress, guaranteeing the highest quality. Then its inductive hardened to 63-65 HRC using proprietary equipment for maximum strength and resistance to wear.

There are currently 19 styles available in the most popular configurations. Additional
styles will be introduced throughout 2009.
