Available in 9 sizes, Dial Electronic Torque Wrenches feature torsional strain gauge technology, which ensures accuracy to ±1% in both directions. Accuracy is valid from 10-100% of full scale. In Track Mode, wrenches display real-time torque, and in Peak mode, they hold highest measured torque until released. Green light and buzzer indicate when target torque has been reached, while red light and intermittent buzzer warn when fastener has been over-torqued.

Stanley® Proto® Expands It Line of Dial Electronic Torque Wrenches
Seven new models offer advantages over a wide range of torque applications.
Conyers, GA, March 4, 2010- Proto® is expanding its lineup of Dial Electronic Wrenches with seven new SKU's. Users now have a total of nine sizes to choose from, with torque ranges from 7.5 in-lbs. to 2000 ft-lbs. So whether it's a small cap screw on a motorcycle engine cover, a large bolt on an oil rig, or anything in between, Proto® has a wrench that's up to the task.
The Stanley® Proto® Dial Electronic Torque Wrench design includes a durable chrome body (not painted) and a sturdy rotary bezel. The electronic interface keypad is designed for ease of use and offers a number of advantages to users. Some key features include:
o Torsional strain gauge technology improves accuracy to +/-1% in BOTH directions (compared to 4% CW and 6% CCW on mechanical models).
o Accuracy is valid from 10% to 100% of Full Scale (versus 20-100% for mechanical wrenches).
o A fast sampling rate ensures the wrench will measure peak torque the moment it's reached.
o Torque measurements can be read in in-lb., ft-lbs., or N-m, simply by pressing a button.
o Track and Peak Hold modes are standard on all models. (In Track Mode the wrench displays real-time torque; in Peak mode it holds the highest measured torque until released.)
o A green light and a buzzer indicate when the target torque has been reached; a red light and an intermittent buzzer warn when the fastener has been over-torqued. These features are a great help when working in low light conditions.
o The patented bezel rotates up to 359 degrees, so that the user can easily view the readout from any direction. The bezel is shrouded with metal walls to protect display.
o The torsional strain gauge technology produces accurate torque reading regardless of where the load is applied on the handle. This is a real convenience where access limits the user to a certain hand position.
The new wrenches are ergonomically designed for user comfort, and operate on standard 9-volt batteries. They are manufactured to meet or exceed ASME B107.28.
