New Electronic Handsinks are Battery Powered for Installation Anywhere

Clayton, Del., June 28, 2002 - Eagle MHC introduces electronic handsinks featuring battery-powered faucets, with no electrical outlet required. With this new feature, users have instant access to handwashing anywhere - even in locations far from an electrical power source. The handsink's long-lived 6 volt battery will last up to three years.

Completely touch-free, the electronic handsink features a fully automated faucet and soap dispenser. The adjustable electronic "eye" sensor beam activates water flow for instant "on/off" reaction, while a separate sensor activates the soap dispenser to deliver a pre-measured amount of soap. Unsanitary faucet handles, knobs, and dirt-catching exterior soap dispensers are eliminated, and soap waste is minimized. A water pre-mix valve controls temperature for maximum safety, while also conserving water.

Constructed of durable Type 300 series stainless steel, the new handsink features an inverted "V" edge rim to retard spillage plus a deep-drawn positive-drain bowl, assuring complete drainage to meet even the most stringent health code requirements.

Eagle MHC offers the most comprehensive line of handsinks available from a single U.S. manufacturer. More than 40 standard models are now available to meet all requirements of industrial operations.
