March 3, 2006 - Featuring IntelliVolt® multiple-voltage technology, e-Vision® Ballasts include 70 and 100 W Reduced-Profile models and 150 W Dimming model with 0-10 V dimming interface and dim ability to 60% lamp power. All ballasts feature 85°C max case temperature, as well as safety features, including automatic lamp power control and lamp monitoring. They are suited for downlighting and accent lighting applications within retail, commercial, institutional, and outdoor settings.

Advance Offers Range of New e-Vision Electronic HID Ballasts for Metal Halide Lamps


(February 24th, 2006 - Rosemont, Illinois) Advance proudly announces the availability of a variety of new products within its popular e-Vision® line of electronic HID ballasts for metal halide lamps. Advance's e-Vision 70-Watt and 100-Watt Reduced-Profile and 150-Watt Dimming electronic HID ballasts bring the comprehensive benefits of electronic HID technology to downlighting and accent lighting applications within a host of retail, commercial, institutional, and outdoor settings.

A full 24% smaller and 10% more efficient than Advance's previous 70-Watt and 100-Watt offerings, Advance's new e-Vision 70-Watt and 100-Watt Reduced-Profile electronic HID ballasts deliver the utmost in high performance, energy-efficiency, and design flexibility in a more compact and lower profile housing than ever before.

Advance's e-Vision 150-Watt Dimming electronic HID ballast offers 0-10V dimming interface and dimmability to 60% lamp power, enabling the utilization of daylight harvesting and other popular sustainable design strategies. This beneficial dimming feature, when integrated into building management systems, further enables reduced power consumption through the reduction of light levels during facility off-hours.
