December 27, 2002 - Series EH-2000 actuators use internal spring-return mechanism for positioning valve in safe condition. Units can be fail-safe to close, open, or lock in position on power or system failure. Offered in both weather-proof and explosion-proof models, self-contained actuators offer true electronic control from process variable to valve. They provide resolution and repeatability less than 0.25%, unrestricted continuous duty, and 4–20 mA command and feedback.

EH-2000 Electro-Hydraulic Actuators

Milwaukee, WI - Jordan Control's new EH-2000 Series of electro-hydraulic actuators combines the simplicity of electrical operation with the precision of hydraulic control and the reliability of spring-powered fail-safe action.

EH-2000 Series actuators use an internal spring-return mechanism to provide the most reliable means of positioning a valve in a safe condition. They can be fail-safe to close or open or lock in position on power or system failure. With both weatherproof and explosion-proof models, the EH-2000 Series simplifies process automation, provides true electronic control from process variable to valve and supplies an electric system for all environments.

The technically advanced units are compact, self-contained electro-hydaulic units for modulating and on-off control of all types of valves and dampers. They're also suitable for adjustable slow-opening applications and ESD quick closure. EH-2000 Series actuators can be supplied with the appropriate electronic controls to match any process control requirement.

With resolution and repeatability less than 0.25%, these units feature lock in-place on loss of power; internal electronics with easy setup, leak-proof hydraulic system, unrestricted continuous duty, 4-20 mA command and feedback, low maintenance and long-life, low power consumption, NEMA 4 enclosure, and explosion-proof construction.

Jordan Controls, an ISO-9001 certified company, has designed and manufactured high-quality actuators for more than 45 years, and sells and services them worldwide.
