November 19, 2002 - Series MVSS stainless steel vibrators are protected from liquids, dusts, aggressive substances, and contaminants. They feature IP 66 protection and IK08 shock-resistance. Frequency is infinitely variable from 20–60 Hz at constant torque by means of static frequency variator. Vacuum encapsulation of stator winding with resin guarantees safety for electrical insulation and ensures winding is mechanically blocked, preventing damage caused by high vibrations.

MVSS Series Stainless Steel Electric Vibrators

Stainless steel: total protection.

Italvibras G. Silingardi SpA (UNI EN ISO 9001) is the leader when it comes to electric vibrator production. Since 1959, this company has opted for specialization as industrial philosophy: it designs and produces vibrators alone.

MVSS series electric vibrators in stainless steel are a true innovation for the market. They are the result of 40 years research and experience acquired by Italvibras in this particular sector.

Italvibras decided to combine the reliability obtained from the technologies used for the MVSI series electric vibrators (which act as a reference for all industrial processes where vibration systems are required) with the structural properties of stainless steel. These MVSS series stainless steel electric vibrators feature total protection from liquids, dusts, aggressive substances and contaminants thanks to the casing and external components, which are made of stainless steel. The electrical and mechanical specifications, external sizing and fastening systems are the same as the MVSI series and are known
throughout the market for their reliability, safety and high performances.

The MVSS series, with its IP 66 mechanical protection degree and IK08 shock-resistance degree, has been designed to operate in all environments and conditions of use: vacuum encapsulation of the stator winding with special resin or the "drop by drop" impregnation method using two-pack resin in insulation class H,
guarantee total safety for the electrical insulation and ensure that the winding is mechanically blocked, thus preventing damage caused by the high vibrations produced. Surface finishing and a new design allow process deposits (dusts, liquids, thick products, etc.) to flow and be eliminated more easily. Thanks to all these features, MVSS series stainless steel electric vibrators are best used in the chemical, petroleum chemistry, food, pharmaceutical, fish processing and ecology sectors and for all those applications where the vibrator must be fully protected against aggressive substances. The windings are subjected to the strict tests established by the standards involving all the pieces produced.

Some information about technical characteristics.

• Power supply: threephase from 24V to 660V, 50 Hz or 60 Hz, single-phase from 115V to 240V, 50 Hz or 60 Hz. The frequency can be infinitely varied from 20 to 60 Hz at constant torque by means of a static frequency variator of the VIBRAVAR or CFV type;

• polarity: standard 2,4,6 and 8 poles;

• centrifugal force: can be adjusted from 0 to the maximum value indicated;

• mechanical protection and shock resistance: IP66, IK08;

• ambient temperature: from -30°C to +40°C to ensure correct operation;

• lubrication: Long Life maintenance-free type bearings;

• operation: continuous service at the maximum centrifugal force and electric power indicated;

• materials: all external parts are made of stainless steel;

• eccentric weight: lamellar or clamped, infinitely adjustable from 0 to the maximum centrifugal force value by means of a graduated scale.
