August 13, 2008 - Electric actuators come in ¼ turn and unidirectional ¼ turn models as well as one ¼ turn unidirectional model with True Union plastic ball valve. All models withstand long-term service in corrosive process applications. Several ¼ turn models are designed for use with True Union and 3-way ball valves from ½-2 in. and 3-way ball valves and butterfly valves up to 4 in. Other models are suitable for use with all 3-way ball and butterfly valves up to 24 in. Several options are available.

Choice of Electric Valve Actuators, Options, and Control Panels/Systems Ideally Suited to a Wide Range of Valve Automation Requirements


Hayward Flow Control Systems, Clemmons, NC, a division of Hayward Industrial Products, now offers a choice of electric valve actuators, numerous options, and control panels/systems for a wide range of valve automation requirements.

Hayward electric actuators are available in several different ¼ turn and unidirectional ¼ turn models, and a ¼ turn unidirectional model with integral True Union plastic ball valve. All models are moderately priced and fully featured to provide reliable, long-term service in a wide range of corrosive process applications. Several ¼ turn models are designed for use with True Union and three-way ball valves from ½" - 2" and three-way ball valves and butterfly valves up to 4"; other models are suitable for use with all three-way ball and butterfly valves up to 24"; and one model is ideal for on/off and modulating use with all ball and butterfly valves up to 12".

A choice of positioner, limit switch, and auxiliary limit voltage options, feedback potentiometers, heater and thermostat, mechanical brake, NEMA 4/4X enclosure, universal control panel, buss control system, and control station options are available.
