July 18, 2003 - Series UHI comes with built-in controls and can be wall or ceiling mounted. Standard voltages include 208, 240, 277, and 480 in single and 3-phase. Cabinets are heavy gauge galvanized steel and tubular elements are 304 SS. Individually adjustable louvers direct airflow where needed. Single point, line voltage connection enables heater, fan, and controls to be connected to same branch circuit. Built-in, automatic reset thermal cutout provides overtemperature protection.

INDEECO Launches New Commercial Unit Heater
A new series of electric Unit Heaters (UHI) for commercial and industrial applications has been introduced by INDEECO, a leading manufacturer of electric heating equipment and controls.
Ranging in size from 3 kW to 10 kW, UHI Series heaters may be wall or ceiling mounted. Standard voltages include 208, 240, 277 and 480 in single and three-phase. Heaters come with built-in controls eliminating the costs of field installed options.
UHI Series cabinets are constructed from heavy gauge galvanized steel with a beige powder coat finish and 304 stainless steel tubular elements for durability. Individually adjustable louvers direct the airflow where needed. Single point, line voltage connection for incoming power enables the heater, fan and controls to be connected to the same branch circuit. All heaters include a built-in automatic reset thermal cutout for overtemperature protection and a fan delay relay. Optional built-in controls include "Heater On" pilot light, disconnect switch, selector switch and thermostat.
The UHI Series is UL Listed.
