New SynergEX Panelboards from Cooper Crouse-Hinds Offer Simple, Safe Installation
Ability to withstand extreme environmental conditions allows for greater performance
SYRACUSE, N.Y., – Cooper Crouse-Hinds, a leader in electrical products that enhance safety, productivity, innovation, and labor savings in industrial, commercial, and solar environments, is expanding its portfolio of panelboards with the new SynergEX panelboard. Designed to provide efficient protection in varied environmental conditions, including temperature extremes and hazardous gases, the panelboard offers reliable performance and safety from installation to maintenance.
Offering the same NEC and CEC certifications as cast aluminum enclosures, SynergEX Panelboard breakers are individually encapsulated without any bolts or screws, allowing for reduced installation, maintenance, and labor costs. By providing overcurrent and short circuit protection for low voltage power, lighting, and heat tracing applications in indoor and outdoor hazardous areas, the panelboards are ideal for areas such as refineries, chemical and petrochemical plants, mining, corrosive process facilities, and food processing facilities.
All configurations include safety features like a finger-safe design to prevent contact with live parts while also allowing users to reset breakers without a hot permit. A lightweight enclosure, with quick snap breaker installation, each SynergEX Panelboard allows for a swift replacement of breakers.
“At Cooper Crouse-Hinds, our goal is to continually provide solutions to improve our customers’ bottom line and overall total cost of ownership,” said Steve Sundlov, global product line manager, controls and apparatus, Crouse-Hinds division. “Our new SynergEX Panelboards provide customers with the time savings and safety tools need to deliver superior service and productivity.”
The panelboard is designed to withstand extreme temperatures (55° C to -40° C), along with all gas groups (ABCD, IIC), and offers durability in the most extreme environments.
