February 28, 2007 - With interior chamber dimensions of 13 x 13.5 x 8.75 in., Econo-Heat(TM) Model 2928-B is suitable for sintering ceramics and glasses as well as heat-treating, tempering, and hardening metals. Exterior shell is constructed of stainless steel sheet metal and 4 in. of insulation to guarantee low skin temperature. Operating from 240 V/15 A, furnace features recessed heating elements and single set point temperature controller with ±2% accuracy.

New Econo-Heat 2928 Furnace Now Available


SUMMARY
The Econo-Heat(TM) Model 2928-B, a new high temperature furnace produced by Aremco Products, Inc., is now available for sintering ceramics and glasses and heat-treating metals up to 2350°F.

FEATURES
The Econo-Heat Model(TM) 2928-B is an electric furnace with interior chamber dimensions of 13" x 13.5" x 8.75". The exterior shell is constructed using stainless steel sheet metal and four inches of total insulations are provided to guarantee a low skin temperature. Heating elements are recessed to provide even heating, longer life and easy replacement. A single set point temperature controller with +/- 2% accuracy up to 2350 °F is provided. Service is 240 volt, 1 phase, and 15 amps.

o Glass Annealing
o Powder Metallurgy
o Ash Determinations
o Assaying
