Product features 316 stainless steel hardware and nonmetallic, corrosion- and static-resistant, fiberglass-reinforced polyester housings. Individually sealed, North American circuit breakers are housed in watertight enclosure, and completely wired design facilitates field termination to standard blocks.

Explosion-Proof Panelboards from Appleton Improve Safety in Industrial Locations
ROSEMONT, IL, APRIL 12, 2007 - Continuing its leadership role in developing premium industrial electrical equipment, Appleton® today announced the new ZCB Series Circuit Break Panelboard.
Explosion-proof and extremely rugged, the ZCB is engineered to safely control electrical equipment and branch circuits, while offering vital short circuit protection. It is ideal for use in petrochemical refineries, chemical processing plants or other Zone 1 and Class I, Div. 2 hazardous locations. ZCB panelboards meet the needs of electricians for hassle-free installation, maximum durability and worker safety by employing:
· Nonmetallic, corrosion-free static-resistant fiberglass reinforced polyester housings with Exe increased safety protection
· 316 stainless steel hardware
· Protective flanges on top and bottom
· Pad-lockable, double bar locks and individually lockable breakers
· Completely wired design for easy field termination to standard blocks.
Appleton ZCB Panelboards contain individually sealed, North American circuit breakers (Cutler-Hammer®) with 10,000 ampere interrupting capacity (AIC) housed in a watertight enclosure. Additionally, each ZCB Panelboard can be coupled together for controlling power to several industrial applications, such as demanding lighting, heating or motor circuits.
Appleton offers five enclosure sizes for the ZCB. Additional options include 316 SS enclosures, transparent operator covers, LED indicator lights, a NEMA 4X drain/breather and back panel mounted breakers.
