After receiving rave reviews and becoming highly recognized in environments around the world, Columbus McKinnon has made the legendary Lodestar electric chain hoist even better. By incorporating new features that provide steady lifts for an array of applications, the latest Lodestar is unsurpassed for quiet operation and user-friendly design.
The CM Lodestar electric chain hoist has long been the industry standard for lifting and positioning and is the most durable and widely used chain hoist in the market today. The CM Lodestar features allow the hoist to be used in all types of lifts and applications. With a capacity range of 1/8 to 3 tons and a wide range of speeds, the Lodestar has the versatility to meet any challenge. The Made-in-the-USA hoist is designed with a light-weight, durable cast aluminum housing and a powder coated finish for high visibility.
Featuring finger-safe wiring and plug-and-play connectors, the control panel allows for quick voltage change, access to terminal strips and simple fuse installation. The lifetime grease-lubricated gear box means no changing and disposing of hazardous oil. An adjustable limit switch prevents the load from over-travel and built in overload protection helps prevent lifting of dangerous overloads. The overload clutch is now located outside the transmission providing easy access for maintenance and out of the load path giving the operator complete control in the event of an overload.
