Avalue Launches the Brand New EPIC Board, EPI-QM67
- Based on the new 2nd Generation Intel® Core(TM) i5-2510E or Core(TM) i7-2710QE
processor and Intel® QM67 Express chipset

Avalue is releasing a new EPIC module, the EPI-QM67, which is powered by 2nd Generation Intel® Core(TM) i5-2510E or Core(TM) i7-2710QE processor and Intel® QM67 Express chipset. Based on Intel's 32nm process technology and featuring a two-chip platform that integrates the Northbridge chip with the CPU, this platform delivers enhanced performance, energy efficiency, manageability, security functions and smoother visual experiences.
The EPI-QM67 supports one 204-pin DDR3 SODIMM (non-ECC) up to 8GB SDRAM. EPI-QM57 supports dual channel 18/24-bit LVDS, dual DVI (one co-lay with VGA), and dual display configurations (DVI + LVDS or DVI + DVI). The rich I/O deployment includes two sets of SATA, two sets of COM, ten sets of USB 2.0 and 16-bit general purpose I/O, makes various requirements of embedded applications possible. One audio jack supports Realtek ALC888, 5.1-CH audio. Two Intel® Gigabit LANs and two expansion slot of mini PCI Express card (one support mSATA) and LPC for extra devices. Built-in touch screen interface allows an interactive Panel PC setup and two Gigabit Ethernet interfaces for faster and more flexible connection.
Intel® Active Management Technology 7.0 enables remote networking manageability for easy monitoring and communication between the server and end user, offering optimized system management capability, even if the power is off. The 2nd Generation Intel® Core(TM) i5-2510E and i7-2710QE processors offer lower power consumption and enhanced graphic and media performance. Avalue's new EPI-QM67 is ideal for a various range of applications including Medical Instruments, PoS/ Kiosk Machines, Digital Signage, Surveillance Devices, Automation Controllers and Military Systems etc.
