Agie Introduces The Latest In Its Series Of Affordable Wire EDM Systems, The New Agiecut Classic 3S
Davidson, NC - Rounding out its family of competitively priced wire EDM machines, Agie introduces the Classic 3S for submerged cutting of workpieces up to approximately 41"w x 25"d x 16.5" tall. "Few people realize just how affordable this series is," says newly appointed Agie Ltd. president Dan Nierste. "Today, with our '3 & Clear' program, you can own or lease an Agie at a cost that's well below what you would expect," he notes.
Like other models in Agie's standard machine range, the Classic 3S incorporates the latest Agie generator for achieving cutting speeds up to 28 sq.in/hr. The Classic 3S also accommodates a 55lb. wire spool for longer runs and automated operations (up to 100 hours). Simple "Point & Click" operation of the Agievision control is based on the ever popular object-oriented PC operating system. Using a mouse to navigate the intuitive screens, even inexperienced users enjoy success. Frequently used features are represented by on screen icons to make running repetitive operations a breeze. Agievision defines a new standard for CNC programming and setup.
The Classic 3S is fully integrated within a CE enclosure and designed so that all components are mounted on a single support frame. This produces an easy to install machine tool requiring a minimal number of external connections.
