Featuring adaptive software that learns movements and positioning of attached machine, posiTRax provides direct, plug-in solution to end-of-life systems that have been manufacturer-discontinued. Laser-based positioning system, suited for rail-bound vehicles/material handling systems, provides full closed-loop feedback for up to 4 axes. Positioning distance ranges from 250 mm to 240 m, with accuracies from 1-4 mm, and controllable traveling speeds reach 3.5 m/sec.

TR Electronic is pleased to release their new posiTRax system. posiTRax is a dynamic, laser-based positioning system designed for cranes, rack feeders, carriage systems and other rail-bound vehicles and material handling systems. With easy-to-use software and full compatibility with other vendor's discontinued systems (such as the ICS-5000), the posiTRax provides for seamless integration.
By providing adaptive software that learns crane or vehicle movements and positioning, the posiTRax generates a reference curve to model the correct position. posiTRax provides full closed-loop feedback for up to 4 axes and like its predecessors , provides the ideal solution for fast and safe, synchronous operation.
