New Pulse-Jet Dust Collector Handles Green Sand At Foundry
CLEVELAND, OH-May 20, 2002-A Sly TubeJet® dust collector has been successfully applied by this manufacturer of cast electrical parts to remove airborne sand. The collector handles 40,000 ACFM, at an air-to-cloth ratio of 5.06:1.
The singed polyester filter bags employed by the collector are easily replaced from the top of the collector in a "no-tools-needed" process. Collected sand is removed via a screw conveyor. Additionally, the TubeJet collector features a convenient walk-in clean air plenum for easy maintenance.
