Clean In-plant Air with Vibraclean Dust Collectors

The nuisance dust created by manufacturing operations can be captured and filtered and clean air recirculated with the Sternvent Vibraclean series of comripact dust collectors.

Designed to filter fine wood, metal, chemical and pharmaceutical dust and/or provide equipment room ventilation for cement plants, the Vibraclean is ideal for medium duty intermittent operations. Typically installed outdoors, it is a first choice in cold climates, since it utilizes an eccentric driven motorized shaker to rejuvenate the filters, instead of compressed air, which is difficult to maintain when outdoor temperatures are below freezing.

Dirty air enters the baffled inlet, which is located in the hopper section. The top mounted, high-efficiency, direct drive, backward inclined fan provides plenty of suction. The sound attenuator reduces the sound level to 72 dB at 5' for the 5 HP, 2,000 CFM model. The 2000 CFM comes complete with a factory wired motor controller and a 55-gallon dust storage drum.

The Vibraclean is available from 1,200 to 8,000 CFM, with 3 to 30 HP. Options include a belt driven fan, explosion relief vent and factory wired safety disconnect switch.

Established in 1952, Sternvent specializes in small to medium size industrial dust collectors (1,000-15,000 CFM) which include high efficiency cyclones, compact shaker units with manual or motorized shakers, Jet-Pulse bag and cartridge units, and oil mist collectors used in the woodworking, metalworking, and chemical industries. Equipment is available with basic modifications such as special filter media, alternate blowers, special height dust containers, and special construction such as stainless steel.
