Supercharged Dust Collectors Combine Downflo® Oval™ Technology With Versatile Environmental Control Booth™
MINNEAPOLIS (December 21, 2004) - Donaldson® Torit® has extended its innovative family of high performance Downflo® Oval™ (DFO) dust collectors with the new Downflo® Workstations (DWS). These versatile, modular self-contained workstations offer maximum productivity through better performance, longer filter life and greater filtration capacity than same-sized dust collectors.
Featuring an exclusive design with patented components, DWS collectors are engineered specifically for in-plant areas where dirty and noisy operations are out in the open. The ledgeless design of DWS in combination with Donaldson Torit's patented Ultra-Web® oval-shaped cartridge filter media and ExtraLife™ filter cleaning technology delivers exceptional performance in metalworking, woodworking and process applications where high filtration efficiency and reduced dust build-up inside the collector are often a requirement.
Requiring no hoods or ductwork, DWS provides quick and easy filter access, fewer filter changeouts, energy savings and reversible louver inlets that can be used high and low for changing applications. ExtraLife pulse filter cleaning technology cleans with a low compressed air pressure of 50 psi while improving filtration efficiency and prolonging filter life. DWS collectors also feature improved dust sheds and smaller, lighter dust drawers that ease the dust handling and emptying process. The dust drawers and filters fit easily into Bag-Out bags for trouble-free disposal.
DWS is available in eight standard model configurations with five distinctly different booth options. They are available in many standard sizes, and custom configurations can be designed by selecting panels, support trusses, joining hardware and many other options.
