It has standard width of 1,350 mm with max reel dia of 1,000 mm and speed of 450 m/min. Equipped with ROTOMEC development in register control, unit can read longitudinal and lateral register on pre-printed material, mark to mark.

ROTOMEC Launches New CL 850 Duplex Laminator

The launch of ROTOMEC's latest generation duplex laminator - the CL 850 - took place in ROTOMEC's production facility in S. Giorgio Monferrato, Italy, with the machine available viewing and demonstrations from 22nd October to 9th November 2007.
The CL 850 is a high performance laminator whose coating unit features a multi-trolley system design enabling the use of different process technologies to perform multiple applications, namely solvent-based and water-based dry lamination, solventless lamination, in-register cold seal coating on pre-printed substrates and in-register printing of one additional colour.
The CL 850 new concept dryer features combined technology nozzles - impingement and floatation type. The dryer construction ensures optimum accessibility for web introduction, as well as for cleaning and maintenance.
The CL 850 features an extremely sensitive web handling control to produce superior quality duplex structures with the widest range of flexible material combinations.
Minimum levels of waste for cold seal coating and other in-register applications are guaranteed by the a brand new ROTOMEC development in register control which enables to read the longitudinal and lateral register on pre-printed material mark to mark. The CL 850 is the best laminator on the market to feature a register control application of this type, due to the perfect integration between ROTOMEC and REGISTRON technologies.
Equipped with shafted winders with fully automatic splice from top and bottom at maximum line speed, this operator-friendly machine provides for fast job changeovers, as well as maximum accessibility to all sections of the laminator for cleaning and maintenance operations.
The CL 850 standard width is 1350 mm (53"), with max reel diameter of 1000 mm (40") and speed of 450 m/min (1480 ft.).
