TAG Releases the Newest 1U Dual-Server Suite
Dulles, Virginia - January 18, 2008 - Technology Advancement Group has released the first of its kind, a dual server suite in a 1U chassis. Unlike other servers that are on currently on the market, this 1U has two completely independent servers with their own power supply. These removable servers allow the end user to extract one server while active programs are still running on the remaining server without interruption.
The Gemini allows for up to 16 cores in a 1U chassis as well as up to 64GB of RAM. The dual server suite meets military standards such as shock, vibration, and humidity. TAG built the Gemini to relieve potential problems with a single failing power supply and to create a product that end users can rely on. Each server features two Quad-Core Intel® Xeon® processors to maximize the processing power.
