UL listed and CSA certified units can be placed outdoors in hazardous areas.

New 'Dual Rated' Conveyor Controls

Conveyor Components Co. is pleased to announce the addition of "dual rated" enclosures to their established product line of quality manufactured conveyor controls. These new style enclosures are rated for a combined area classification of NEMA 4 weatherproof and NEMA 9 dust ignition proof, allowing the units to be placed outdoors in hazardous areas. Most of the new units are UL listed and CSA certified.
The new dual rated enclosures encompass the Model RS-D and Model RSB-D pull cord or cable operated stop control, the Model TA-D belt alignment control, the Model DB-100D belt rip detector, the Model PCL/R/D-D pull cord, the Model CR-D level control and plugged chute detector, and the Model FS-D dry bulk material flow control series. The Model CMS-X zero speed control is also dually rated for NEMA 4 and NEMA 9 environments with a 5 amp unpowered output relay instead of a microswitch arrangement.
