ANADIGICS Unveils New Power Amplifier Duplexer (PAD) Family

New Dual-Band PAD Family Combines Industry-Leading HELP3E(TM) WCDMA/LTE Power Amplifier Efficiency with a High Performance Duplexer

WARREN, N.J., -- ANADIGICS, Inc. (Nasdaq: ANAD), a world leader in radio frequency (RF) solutions, today introduced a new family of dual-band power amplifier duplexer (PAD) modules based on the Company's innovative third generation High-Efficiency-at-Low-Power (HELP3E(TM)) technology. By combining world-class HELP3E(TM) power amplifiers with high performance duplexers, ANADIGICS' new family of PAD front-end modules deliver optimal RF performance and longer battery-life, while reducing device design and assembly complexity. These modules include 2 separate RF paths in a compact 4.5 mm by 6 mm package, offering the industry's smallest 3G / 4G dual-band footprint to reduce PCB space by 40%.

"Next-generation mobile devices are being designed to deliver an unprecedented level of features, performance, and style as consumers continue to demand greater functionality and versatility," said John van Saders, senior vice president of RF products at ANADIGICS. "Our new family of power amplifier duplexer modules provides manufacturers with a clear RF advantage. By combining industry-leading efficiency, linearity, and integration, ANADIGICS' PAD modules help extend battery-life, minimize space requirements, and reduce time-to-market."

ANADIGICS' family of dual-band power amplifier duplexer module use the Company's exclusive InGaP-Plus(TM) technology to achieve optimal efficiency across low-range and mid-range output power levels. The internal design optimizes the power amplifier and duplexer match to deliver greater overall system efficiency and RF front-end performance.
