Cold Jet Introduces Lightweight, Compact Aero V Dry Ice Blast Cleaning System

New single-hose Aero V electric dry ice blast cleaning system delivers powerful cleaning solution in affordable, compact package

CINCINNATI - Cold Jet, LLC, the world leader in environmentally responsible dry ice blast cleaning and production technology, today introduced the new Aero V, a compact, single-hose electric dry ice blast cleaning system. The Aero V is a lightweight, compact variable feed system that uses a patented aerodynamic rotor to ensure high reliability and smooth pulse-free dry ice blasting performance. The new model also features an aluminum frame and 360 degree turning radius for easy maneuverability in tight areas.

"Our compact and affordable Aero V delivers the same reliable performance and patented variable feed that is found in our entire Aero Series," said Gene Cooke, CEO of Cold Jet, LLC. "As our thousands of customers around the world will attest, our systems are built to last, and we have designed the Aero V to be easily maintained, as well as lightweight and maneuverable for convenient use for a variety of cleaning projects."

Among the many benefits of the environmentally responsible Aero V are the following:

o Stainless steel isolated hopper with vibrator to keep pellet fluidized and ensure reliable feed;

o Easy-off panels for quick inspection and maintenance of internal components;

o Lightweight aluminum frame;

o 360 degree turning radius for navigation in tight areas;

o Pulse-free blasting;

o ESD (static) control; and

o Quick-change nozzle connection fits all Cold Jet AeroTech nozzles

Cold Jet systems use high-density dry ice made from reclaimed carbon dioxide as the cleaning medium, and therefore provide a non-abrasive, non-conductive, chemical-free, water-free process that won't damage surfaces or equipment. The dry ice media, blasted using pressurized air at user-controlled speeds, sublimates upon impact with the surface being cleaned, lifting away dirt and contaminants without leaving behind any secondary waste. The Aero V weighs less than 165lbs (75kg), but offers a blast pressure range of 20 to 140 PSI.
