Drum Safety Cages for Storage and Rough Transport Areas
Buffalo Grove, IL - Liftomatic Material Handling, Inc., has worked with several customers to solve the problem of rough-ground transport and needed stacking space with the new Model DC-4 which fits any forklift and locks automatically to the forklift with an automatic safety device attached to the fork pockets on the drum cage. The new DC-4 cages can be used to safely contain all steel, plastic and fiber drums. The DC-4 is especially useful in areas where tight spaces are encountered such as busy aisles or where drums must be handled over rough terrain such as railroad crossings and through broken ground yards.
The Liftomatic DC-4 can be ordered with built-in safety recesses for each of 4 drums or can be customized to meet users specifications for a particular project. The product is designed so that each cage can be stacked 3 high for ultimate cubic utilization. Spark-resistant and explosion proof models and custom coatings options are available.
