June 12, 2003 - Drum Right Gravity Feed Mixer stirs or agitates materials stored in 55 gal drums, keeping material homogenous so it can be used as formulated. It can accomplish said task while drum is lying horizontally for dispensing, eliminating need for drum pump or transfer pump. Equipped with 2 in. folding blades and 1.5 hp air motor, mixer handles viscosities to 50,000 cps and operates with air pressures from 80–100 psi. On/off valve activates mixing process.

Revolutionary Design Allows Mixing While Dispensing
BASCO introduces a unique industrial mixer and dispenser with the Drum Right Gravity Feed Mixer. The product is designed to stir or agitate materials stored in 55-gallon drums. It will keep a material homogenous so that it can be used as formulated. In addition, it does this while the drum is lying horizontally for dispensing, eliminating the need for a drum pump or transfer pump. The Gravity Feed Mixer is ideal for anyone using filled materials (liquids mixed with solids) or suspensions (epoxies, urethanes, silicones, etc.).
Simple to install, the DrumRight Gravity Feed Mixer, with its 2" folding blades, is inserted through the 2" bung opening. The mixer housing is then threaded into the bung. When the drum is placed on its side, just use the on/off valve on the unit to activate the mixing process. The flow control is used to adjust the speed of mixing to the desired rate. Once the material is mixed adequately, the dispensing ball valve is opened to allow material to be dispensed from the drum. Equipped with a powerful 1.5 HP air motor, the DrumRight Gravity Feed Mixer is designed to handle viscosities up to 50,000 cps. The unit operates with a normal air pressure of 80 - 100 psi.
