August 27, 2003 - Drum Chocks, molded from recycled polyethylene, have weight capacity of 550 lb. They allow drums to be stored on standard pallet racks or wooden pallets. Models are available to tilt drums forward for more drainage from spigots. Front stops on tilted models avert slide off. Mini Chock is 15 x 6 x 2 in.; Shelf Drum Chock is 15 x 29.5 x 2 in.; Inclined Shelf Drum Chock is 15 x 6 x 2 in.; and Inclined Shelf Drum Chock with Fork Openings is 15 x 6 x 2 in.

Drum Chock Eliminates Drums from Rolling
BASCO introduces the Drum Chock, to eliminate the need for expensive specialty racks and stands to store poly, steel, or fiber drums horizontally. With the Drum Chock, drums can now be stored on standard pallet racks or on wooden pallets. The unique design prevents rolling while drums are stored on their side.
Molded from recycled polyethylene, these sturdy and durable chocks can hold a weight capacity of 550 lbs. Models are available to tilt drums forward for more drainage from standard spigots. Front stops are on the tilted models to avert slide off. There is another model that is designed with forklift openings.
The Drum Chock is available in four models: Mini Chock (15"W x 6"D x 2" H); Shelf Drum Chock (15"W x 29.5"D x 2" H); Inclined Shelf Drum Chock (15"W x 6"D x 2" H); and Inclined Shelf Drum Chock with Fork Openings (1 5"W x 6"D x 2" H).
