Waunakee, WI — NORD Gear Corporation has launched their NORDAC® Trio SK 300E - incorporating a UNICASEâ„¢ speed reducer, an integral motor, and an SK 300E frequency inverter all fully assembled and offered in one compact package!
The NORDAC® Trio SK 300E "Compact Package" simplifies their customers' specifying, pricing, ordering, installation and service processes with the offering of this one fully-integrated unit. UNICASEâ„¢ speed reducers are available in helical in-line, NORDBLOC® in-line, shaft mount parallel, bevel right angle, helical-worm right angle, and worm right angle configurations. Integral motors are 380 to 460 V; 50 or 60 Hz; 0.16 to 5 HP; 0.12 to 4 kW; 2, 4 or 6 pole; with many other options available. SK 300E frequency inverters provide sensorless vector control, flexible programming, a built-in motor brake rectifier and inverter braking chopper, an integrated Class B line filter, plug-in construction, IP66 washdown protection, gearmotor or wall mounting, and many other standard features.
The modular design and powerful options of the NORDAC® Trio SK 300E include:
• An "electronic nameplate "allowing program to stay with motor for fast replacement,
• A standard RS-485 digital interface,
• Available cover-mounted controls,
• Flexible field bus interfaces,
• The NORDAC p-box, an external add-on unit used to set/store program and monitor inverter operation,
• NORDCON software, a free PC program designed to program, start-up, monitor and troubleshoot up to 31 connected NORD inverters. Enables uploading, downloading and storage of inverter programs. Includes scope function.
