July 17, 2003 - Modular holding systems for drilling accommodate solid carbide drills, brazed drills, and proprietary CrownLoc system. Holders feature 6 coolant inducers with 2 maximum recommend revolutions (4,000 and 6,000 rpm) for manual and automatic tool change. Product has maximum pressure level of 290 psi and features Graflex® back end. Graflex arbors are available for coolant inducers and adjustable drill holders.

Seco-Carboloy Introduces New Drilling Holders


July 10, 2003 - Seco-Carboloy (Warren, Mich.) has introduced a new competitive holding system for drilling that covers a wide range of needs including solid carbide drills, brazed drills, and Seco-Carboloy's CrownLoc system.

The range of holders feature coolant inducers for both manual and automatic tool change for a total of six different coolant inducers with two different maximum recommend revolutions (4,000 rpm and 6,000 rpm). The maximum pressure level is 290 PSI.

In addition, new adjustable insert drill holders are available with an accuracy of + .002 in. (+ 0.05 mm). These holders come with or without coolant inducers.

The new holding system for all styles is modular in design and features a Graflex® back end. Graflex arbors are available for coolant inducers and adjustable drill holders.
