November 30, 2010 - Protector Downdraft Powder Stations keep users safe by containing powders during fingerprint processing. Allowing unrestricted operator movement, open-sided and open-top workstation comes in 2 or 3 ft widths and may be placed side-by-side with other workstations. Use of recirculated air promotes energy conservation and workplace air quality. Along with Type 304 stainless steel work surface with Flow-Zone perforations, features include blower, exhaust prefilter, and exhaust HEPA filter.

New Protector(TM) Downdraft Powder Station Keeps Users Safe While Dusting for Fingerprints.


The NEW Protector Downdraft Powder Stations keep users safe by containing powders during fingerprint processing. The open-sided, open-top work station provides unrestricted operator movement and accommodates oversized evidence. To conserve energy and avoid high heating and cooling costs, air is re-circulated and not exhausted to the outside. Available in 2' and 3' widths, two or more Stations may be placed side-by-side to achieve an unlimited number of width combinations. Features include Type 304 stainless steel work surface with Flow-Zone perforations; epoxy-coated steel housing and shelf; removable powder catch pan; built-in blower with motorized, backward curved fan; filter system alarm light to alert operator to low airflow conditions; exhaust prefilter of pleated paper with MERV 8 rating and an exhaust HEPA filter 99.99% efficient on particles 0.3 micron.
