September 7, 2007 - Constructed with rigid steel frame, SS-10 utilizes computer control and employs 10 hp, 3-phase motor. System features automatic cycle along with interlocking door, indicator lights, as well as pushbutton controls for Up, Down, and key lock E-Stop functions. Use of 6 in. hydraulic cylinder, with 56,500 lb platen force, applies 2,000 psi to load in order to create 700-1,000 lb, 60 x 30 in. bales with adjustable heights to 48 in.

Automation Recycling Systems Creates New Paper Recycling & Cardboard Recycling Baler


ARS has brought value engineering to the present baler production industry and has created and now offers the new "Low Cost Leader" in the recycling down stroke baler market.

The new SS-10 is a 10 hp baler designed primarily for the Cardboard and/or Paper recycling market. The SS10 utilizes the latest in computer control to deliver all the features of the high priced systems while ensuring safety, and reliability. Structurally, the SS10 utilizes the steel where it is needed to produce a frame that is more rigid than any baler on the market of comparable platen force.

Priced at $7800.00 the SS10 offers by far the most value in down stroke balers.

The new SS10 Baler features:
· 700 to 1000 pound bales on the large baler.
- 60" x 30" bales
- Height 48 " (adjustable)
· 10 hp 3 phase motor (230 or 460 VAC / 24 or 12 amps current).
· 2000 psi hydraulic pressure.
· 6" Hydraulic Cylinder (56,500 lbs platen force)
· Interlocking door
· Push button controls
- Up / Down / Key lock E-Stop
· Indicator lights
- Doors Open (Amber) / Bale Made (Green) / Error (Red) / System Power (White)
· Automatic cycle
- Once the door(s) is closed, pressing the down button will begin an automatic cycle. If the target bale size is not reached during an automatic cycle, the system will reset for loading.
- The system will automatically open the loading door on the up stroke.
