Assmann Will Exhibit New, Smaller Double Wall IMT 250/150 'Day' Tanks That Provide Primary and Secondary Containment in One Unit at Weftec
Garrett, IN — New, IMT 250/150 small, double wall tank system that provides primary and secondary containment in one space-saving integral 'day' unit will be exhibited by Assmann Corporation at Weftec, McCormick Place, Chicago, IL, September 28 to October 2, 2002 in Booth 2120.
Designed for storing chemicals inside or outside, the IMT system consists of a primary tank and a secondary outer tank with a capacity 120% of the inner tank. This construction exceeds EPA standards and complies with 40 CFT-264.193 regulations. Engineered with an inner tank dome that overlaps the outer tank's sidewall, the tank prevents rain, snow and debris from entering the secondary tank.
The IMT 250/150 tank has a small footprint and molded-in forklift access for easy relocation. A molded-in, recessed pump shelf in the top of the tank contains small chemical spills and is ideal for installing chemical pumps and metering equipment. A molded-in sump in the primary tank allows suction lines to be lowered onto the sump area, allowing for maximum drainage of chemicals with top discharge assemblies. The tank also features a recessed lower fitting flat that allows fittings to penetrate through the secondary containment wall and into the primary tanks sump which allows full flooded suction for outlet assemblies.
Other features include a molded 7" threaded top, chemical resistant and fume tight access opening. A 16" access opening with level locking cover is optional.
