Wilden® Introduces 10mm (3/8") and 13mm (½") Hornet(TM) Pumps

Grand Terrace, CA - Wilden®, the worldwide leader in air-operated double-diaphragm pump technology and an operating company within Dover Corporation's Pump Solutions Group (PSG(TM)), is proud to announce the new 10 mm (3/8") and 13 mm (1/2") Hornet(TM) Series pumps. The Hornet(TM) is engineered for industrial applications including chemical dispensing, car wash, and OEM systems. Competitive pricing will allow the Hornet pump to easily displace the competition and enter new markets.

The Hornet(TM) pump is the first product to leverage PSG's global capabilities. The pump was designed, developed, and tested at Wilden, and features the patented Almatec air distribution system. Almatec is an operating company within PSG and headquartered in Germany. All Hornet pumps are assembled at PSG India; pumps will be ordered, stocked and supported through the Wilden facility.

The Hornet(TM) pump uses the Almatec patented Perswing(TM) Air Distribution System (ADS) for maximum reliability. The pump features Wil-Flex(TM) Integral Piston Diaphragms (IPD) for optimum containment. Spring-loaded check valves provide multi-directional mounting; quick disconnect fittings offer convenient installation.

The Hornet(TM) pump is available with multiple fitting options: 10mm (3/8") barbed hose, 10mm (3/8") MNPT, and 13mm (1/2") barbed hose. These quick-disconnect fittings are easily interchanged to provide compatibility with application requirements.

Hornet pumps are packaged and sold to distributors in convenient twelve-packs. A twelve-pack contains twelve identical models boxed for individual sale. Therefore, all orders need to be placed in multiples of twelve. This provides optimal shipping, handling and warehousing to maximize competitive pricing.
