Constructed with stainless steel handles and all-bronze body, DC 4A Series is corrosion-resistant for extended service life and employs captured spring check modules that allows for compact design that fits in standard meter boxes or under small enclosures. Valves include 2 self-contained check modules, independently accessible from top and removable for maintenance, as well as top-mounted test cocks that promote serviceability. Max working pressure of 175 psi.

ApolloŽ Introduces New Compact DC 4A Series Double Check Valves
MATTHEWS, NC - New DC 4A Series double checks from ApolloŽ Valves employ unique "captured spring" check modules that allow for a more compact design that fits in standard meter boxes or under smaller enclosures. Service and maintenance are simplified, too.
Apollo DC 4A Series valves include two self-contained check modules that are independently accessible from the top. The check modules are easily removable and can be replaced or disassembled for standard maintenance. Top-mounted test cocks further improve serviceability.
The DC 4A Series are part of a new backflow preventer family from Apollo that also includes RP 4A reduced pressure principle assemblies and PVB 4A pressure vacuum breakers. All three new valves share the same "captured spring" design and utilize interchangeable check valve modules in the same sizes. This simplifies repair operations and helps contractors reduce parts inventory.
Stainless steel handles and an all-bronze body make the DC 4A Series corrosion resistant for extended service life. Maximum working pressure is 175 PSI; operating temperature range is 33° to 140°F.
