Domestic Hot Water Storage Tanks Introduced by AERCO

Northvale, NJ - AERCO International introduces domestic water storage tanks designed for use with instantaneous water heaters that provide immediate hot water at peak demands. ASME-certified, the storage tanks promote stable temperature control for potable water applications and help reduce water heating cycling in commercial laundry systems and full on/full off, solenoid applications, thereby improving operating efficiency.

The glassed lined (porcelain enamel) provides a tough, wear-resistant interior surface which minimizes the effects of the high-temperature hot water stored in the steel tanks that have a maximum operating temperature of 180°F. Replaceable, sacrificial magnesium anode rods help protect the tank and extend tank life. AERCO has designed the tanks with separate connections for cold water, hot water, relief valve, aquastat, thermometer, building recirculation, vacuum breaker, and drain.

Three sizes - 210 gallons, 340 gallons, and 505 gallons - are available to meet a variety of hot water requirements. The storage tanks can be manufactured in stratified or accumulator storage configurations. The stratified storage design features a dispersion tube or baffle at the cold water inlet to create a thermal boundary layer.

About AERCO

AERCO offers commercial boilers and water heaters that simplify infrastructure, reduce project costs and minimize lifecycle expenses. Founded in 1949, AERCO originated tankless water heating, introduced the first modulating and condensing gas-fired unit for the commercial market and helped pioneer the high-efficiency boiler category.
