PROCESS DIRECTOR is a certified SAP® Add-On and sets a new standard for the handling of processes within SAP. PROCESS DIRECTOR gives organizations a control center for directing and handling a wide range of processes in SAP®. The PROCESS DIRECTOR platform comes with predefined logic for directing document-driven and request-driven processes and can be easily used for handling specific business processes.
PROCESS DIRECTOR replaces old channels like phone, email, and paper. It covers essential processes like invoice handling, customer order processing, delivery note handling, journal entry correction and more.
PROCESS DIRECTOR is a single point of processing which improves visibility. Users can monitor processes, navigate to relevant transactions, and easily take on new processes with minimal training efforts. This means better control over information flows, early notification of errors, decrease of costs and inefficient time-consuming manual labor, and significantly shortened total processing time.
Environment
As a certified SAP® Add-On, PROCESS DIRECTOR resides and works seamlessly inside SAP® which means that users can work in their familiar SAP® environment. By using the existing SAP structure it is possible to get a low total cost of ownership. PROCESS DIRECTOR is separate from the SAP standard and does not require any modifications in the SAP system.
Interface
In addition to the SAP user interface, PROCESS DIRECTOR has a web browser interface where users can view information in a friendly and intuitive environment. This brings the PROCESS DIRECTOR workflow and powerful business logic inside the SAP environment to users that are more comfortable in a simplified browser interface.
Automating document-driven processes
This means handling delivery notes, sales orders, remittance advice, etc. PROCESS DIRECTOR works as a control center where users can approve and process incoming documents, no matter how they arrive.
Automating request-driven processes
This means for example purchase requisitions, requests for master data changes (vendor master, profit center master, etc), and creation or changes to business data (journal entry correction postings). With PROCESS DIRECTOR, users can enter these requests directly into SAP and send them off to the correct persons for approval.
A browser interface provides easy and intuitive access to the business processes. Complete information is presented for process and document information as well as workflow status.
